Dr. Darryl McElveen
Veterinarian
Dr. Darryl McElveen (Doc) earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Armstrong State College and a master’s degree in physiology, as well as a doctorate, from the University of Georgia. Early in his career, he developed an interest in dermatology and soft tissue surgery.
Doc has a big heart for puppies, kittens, babies, and anything that can be planted in the dirt (he is a Master Gardener graduate from Clemson University after all). He loves spending time with his family: his wife, three grown children, and their spouses, his nine grandchildren (whom he lovingly calls “The Grizzlies,” his camping buddies), two dogs, and two cats!
